Melorita Healthcare is a Malaysian based healthcare recruitment agency. Set up over 35 years ago we are the pioneers in this business and have been providing healthcare professionals with the best jobs in locations around the world for over 3 decades.
In the early 80’s Melorita responded to a request from King Abdulaziz University Hospital for the supply of nursing staff from Malaysia to work in the hospital located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr Mohamed Sultan, the founder of Melorita managed to convince the management of the hospital as to the quality of Malaysian nurses and convinced them to offer Malaysians jobs with salaries under the “Western” category which meant they would earn more than double what their other Asian counterparts were receiving at the time. This agreement continues to this day and is the legacy that Melorita created for Malaysian healthcare professionals working in the Middle East. This also pioneered the opening of opportunities for Malaysian professionals to offer their services to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over the next 20 years Melorita managed to build itself the reputation as the leading provider of healthcare staffing to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Since then the company has expanded rapidly and currently provides its’ recruitment services to over 30 healthcare organizations in 6 countries around the world including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Singapore, Brunei and right here in Malaysia. Melorita is currently recognized as the largest healthcare recruitment company in Malaysia that specializes in sourcing and supplying healthcare talent including Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health professionals for organizations around the world.

Issei Sonoda – CEO/Director
Issei was appointed as the CEO of Melorita in October 2017. He is also heading MIMS Career, recruitment agency in Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines as a director and COO.
He has a wide spread of knowledge in technology, operation management, business development, human resource management, finance, and marketing.
He managed M3career.inc, the largest recruitment agency for healthcare industry in Japan with more than 400 employees, as a business development manager and General Manager for 5 years. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Law from University of Tokyo.
Suriah Suki – Head of Department / Recruitment Manager
Suriah joined Melorita Healthcare in 2006 and brought with her over 11 years in full cycle recruiting experience. Prior to join Melorita, her experience spans 10+ years at corporate world in administration, human resources and corporate finance before venturing into recruitment. Doing the right thing, approachable and consultative in nature are her strongest skills. She enjoys listening to clients and candidates, then recommending solutions to best fit their desires. She truly believe that she sets herself apart from all other recruiters by being accessible at all times. Through her past experience, she developed a wonderful eye for details and talent, which serves our clients well. Add to that an excellent customer service skills and a deep understanding of the Healthcare industry she has become a key member of the Melorita Recruiting team.
S. Kennesri – Head of Department / Manager
Kennes completed her studies majoring in Public Relations & Sales Management and pursued her education to bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has almost 20 years working experience and she has developed substantial skills in management role in various industry namely Hotel management, Real Estate, Automotive -Corporate Strategy and Business Development before venturing into Healthcare Industry. Her past experience and achievement has been extremely beneficial in achieving quick results using good analytical & resourceful approach and developed new strategies. Kennes is a huge people-person and inspired by recruitment and loving it! She is heading the recruitment & operation unit and she is passionate to be part of the process to find great opportunity for healthcare practitioners. She is interested in finding people careers rather than simply jobs!
Akhilesh K. Chand @ Akhi – Project Manager
Akhi majored in Business & Information Technology from the University of Staffordshire. Worked in IT Consulting (SAP) for 6 years before making a life altering transition into Healthcare Recruitment. Since 2013, Akhi has been tasked with leading special projects, marketing initiatives & business development which successfully grew Melorita Healthcare’s business. Very passionate about growth hacking & strategic business development.
Malar Vili Sreedharan – Team Leader
Malar has BSc (Hons) in Nursing Practice Development from University of Northumbria, New Castle UK. Completed her Diploma in Nursing from College of Nursing, Sime Darby Nursing & Health Sciences. She has almost 11 years of experience as State Registered Nurse locally & Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Her experience in nursing has been beneficial and valuable to lead the Candidate Care Department in Melorita. Enthusiastic to meet people and share her experience!
