The first time I met Nur Hazwani was in a road show in Melaka. She was a person that never gave up in pursuing her dreams in international nursing. A bubbly and happy go lucky person in nature, Nur had the determination that she wanted to live comfortably with great financial freedom in order to upgrade herself and to support her family whom she loves the most.
Her application was rejected at the very first time she walked in for the road show, but she did not take NO for an answer.
Imagine how refreshing a glass of cold juice would feel or how sweet a date would taste after a whole day of fasting. For Muslims around the world, this is the satisfaction gained when they sit down to enjoy a good meal together with their family and friends in the evening.
This Ramadan month brought a memorable get together among Meloritans. Themed as the Arabian Fiesta and held at VE Hotel and Residence, Bangsar, we were all dressed in colourful traditional costumes and observed a night of breaking fast with our Muslim colleagues.
Rohana Zain has been a Registered Nurse for the past 17 years and has made her transition in an international nursing career with Melorita Healthcare. MOTHER is a word that voices out the sacrifices of a woman who has brought us into this world. The pain and the struggles she had faced just to keep her children happy. Her responsibility does not stop till her last breath. There is no way we can ever really thank our mother for all she does for us nevertheless we must make it a habit to keep reminding ourselves of the various sacrifices she made while raising us.
At Melorita, we believe that every one of our candidates should master a job interview in order to secure an international nursing career.
Throughout these years, Melorita had engaged experienced trainers to guide our candidates through a step-by-step learning experience on how to empower their knowledge and necessary skills to dazzle through their interview session with our clients, being a face to face or Skype interview.
During this training program, the candidate will learn specific interview techniques as well as to practise the most common interview questions and much more.
My Mum nursed me when I was unwell as a child. She stayed up all night administering cold compress, made sure I took my medicines on time and saw to all of my comfort and needs. When she was unwell I tried to do the same from what I had observed her do for me. At 10 years of age I nursed some kittens and little birds back to life. From that young age I already understood that life is precious.
We at Melorita always look at ways to assist our candidates in securing a job internationally. With a successful portfolio in the past 40 years, we are striving to build more international nursing job opportunities by building relationships with new clients globally.

Having good nursing skills is just not enough to be a nurse. A good critical thinking skills and strategies is mainly what a nurse needs to equip herself with and this is where NCLEX comes into the picture.
To work as a nurse in the USA, all nurses must pass the NCLEX exam in order to receive a nursing license. The Nurse Who Never Left My Side
(By Kanya Intachat)
I had a fear for nurses since young. All I imagined was, how two nurses chased me around in a small room at a clinic to give me an injection. I had my mum on the other side. I cried and cried pleading them to throw the needle away! They were scarier than doctors! I was 5 years old at that time and my perception changed 22 years ago when I realized that Nurses are angels without wings, the assets of healthcare, to which their care, compassion and comfort, brings healing to their patients are beyond prescription.
There is nothing but excitement when our candidates step into a new country, making it their 2nd home while pursuing their international nursing career. A new home, a new working environment, new friends, a new phase of life, but nothing stops them from keeping their homeland close to their hearts.
During the Hari Raya Celebration, our candidates from National Guard Hospital, King Faisal Hospital and King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, in Riyadh, gathered in their respective compounds to share the joy of the festive season.
I chose to work in Saudi Arabia mainly because i wanted to broaden my experience and knowledge apart from the benefit of earning a good income which then helped me with some of my financial responsibility, I was used to being away from my friends and family so it was not really a big deal for me. However, I always miss home food.
Working in KSA has been a wonderful experience.
LLast Thursday, May 12th, marked the International Nurses Day celebration where nurses were honored for their endless dedication and contributions made to the society ,and, which is also the birth date of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
The Melorita Healthcare (HQ) team, which office is based in Petaling Jaya, had organized a special celebration for their nurses. During this celebration, the bosses and staff of Melorita had the opportunity to pen down their own personal message to the nurses on a special greeting card, which was then handed over to the nurses who attended the celebration.
“Never give up to chase your dream and passion. Your life is your message to the world, make sure it is inspiring.” -(Anonymous) Like one of the many students, I developed the interest to study as, with time, I learnt to believe that study grants a better future. I have always been amazed with how science interacts closely with our daily livings and body systems. This is why I have had the strong interest in medicine since high school.
